Before you start
What you need
A Claude account on a plan that supports connectors, and your Affise MMP API key.
Setup
1
Open connector settings
In claude.ai, click your name in the bottom-left corner, then
Settings ▸
Connectors. In Claude Desktop the same screen is under
Settings ▸
Connectors.
Open settings →
2
Add a custom connector
Scroll to the bottom of the connector list and click Add custom connector.
3
Paste the endpoint
Put https://mcp-mmp.affise.com/mcp in the Remote MCP server URL field. Name it Affise MMP. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty — the connection registers itself.
4
Enter your API key
Click Connect. A browser window opens with one field: your Affise MMP API key. Paste it and click Authorize. The key is checked against Affise MMP before the connection is accepted, so a wrong key is refused right there rather than failing later. The window closes on its own and the connector shows as connected.
5
Ask something
Start a new chat and ask “Using Affise MMP, how many installs did we get yesterday?” Claude asks permission to run the tool the first time.
Check it worked
Ask “Using Affise MMP, show yesterday’s installs by partner.” A working connection answers with real numbers — and in Claude, as an interactive table.
If something goes wrong
The connector never opens a sign-in window+
Check the URL ends in /mcp — https://mcp-mmp.affise.com on its own is not the MCP endpoint.
The form says the key is invalid+
The server wants the 40-character integration API key from your Affise MMP account, not the 36-character settings token that looks like a UUID. Copy the key again without spaces.
A tool answers “permission denied”+
Your key is valid but cannot read that report — most often an agency key asking for retention, the network postback log or raw conversions, which Affise MMP keeps to the app owner. Reconnecting will not help; ask the app owner, or use a client key.
Every tool says to reconnect+
The key was rotated or revoked in Affise MMP. Remove the connector, add it again and paste the current key.
Try these first
Once you are connected, these are good first questions. See more examples or the full tool reference.
- Why is the install for GAID d8313cad-… organic?
- I installed on my test phone ten minutes ago — did the install and events arrive?
- Which partner drove the most installs this week compared to last week?
